Operations Manager

The Operations Manager will play a central role in coordinating and executing e-Biome’s core programmes, partnerships, and growth initiatives. This role requires a proactive, self-driven individual capable of managing multiple workstreams, building strategic relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of the e-Biome Summer Camp and International Young Scientist Programme

  • Coordinate and manage tutors, interns, and programme facilitators

  • Develop and maintain relationships with schools, universities, hotels, and private sector partners

  • Support fundraising efforts, including securing sponsorships and partnerships

  • Oversee the Medical Students Programme and internship programme

  • Organize and execute school tours and outreach activities

  • Support programme design, curriculum development, and implementation

  • Prepare reports and contribute to technical writing and research outputs

  • Support growth initiatives, including digital platforms (e.g. YouTube) and product development channels

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in a relevant scientific discipline

  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience

  • Strong technical writing and research skills

  • Knowledge of sponsorship development and partnership engagement

  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Work Structure 

  • Four (4)-day work week

  • Hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of remote work and in-person meetings for partnerships and business engagements

  • Incumbent must have access to a quiet, professional workspace at home

  • May be required to work outside of standard working hours to support programme delivery, events, and partner coordination

Incumbent must be based in the Caribbean (preferably Jamaica) or USA (preferably Florida).

Interns at e-Biome play a crucial role in diverse tasks, from project proposal writing and data analysis to social media management and market studies. They contribute to scientific research, grant proposals, scientific blogging, and project meetings, enhancing their skills and making meaningful contributions to the organization's growth.

Research Assistants

At e-Biome, Research Assistants play a vital role in Science, Technology, Environment, Medical and Business projects. They conduct research, analyze data, contribute to scientific research and assist in proposal writing.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have a Science-related First Degree 

  • Other Certifications are an Asset (Project Management, Data Analysis).

  • Must be able to express through scientific/academic writing.

  • Able to do presentations

  • Knowledge of Project Management. 

Independent Sales Ambassadors (ISAs)

ISAs are responsible for the promotion of e-Biome’s Services, STEM Edu Programmes, and the development and coordination of individual marketing strategies/plans.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate

  • Must be excellent communicators (Verbal and Written)

  • Must be passionate and results-driven

  • Must be social-media savvy

  • Must be persuasive and excellent at sales

  • Must be articulate and able to meet sales targets
